Membership That Matters!

The WCEDP is a Texas, non-profit, 501 C-6 organization. Since February of 2002, we have faithfully served our community. By joining the WCEDP you become a member of one of the most dynamic organizations in Waller County. Together, we are building a stronger community.

Join A Legacy of Excellence

Over the years we have been fortunate to win several awards for excellence in economic development projects. WCEDP has won three state awards from the Texas Economic Development Council, one from the International Economic Development Council, and a Community Impact and Corporate Investment Award with the Governor's Office from Trade and Industry Development Magazine.

Membership Levels

We have three membership levels that renew annually.

Associate Members - $1,500

Associate Members gain access to partner meetings, networking opportunities, speaker events, and discussions on organizational and community issues. This offers small businesses an excellent opportunity to engage with the community and get involved before making a larger commitment.

Trustee Members - $3,500

As a Trustee Member, you have access to all the benefits of Associate Membership, along with the option to sit on the board. Even if you choose not to exercise the board option, you can still attend and participate in board meetings, though without voting privileges. We provide D&O insurance for board members who opt in. Board meetings feature project presentations and discussions on ongoing activities, giving you first-hand information on important projects. Additionally, your name will be listed on our website. This membership level is ideal for those who are project-oriented, as direct project referrals begin at this level.

Foundation Members - $15,000

The Foundation level was established by one of our long-time partners to bolster support for the organization and enhance our service to the community. Foundation Members are typically highly invested in the community, often incorporating this membership into their corporate social responsibility programs. This level includes all the benefits of the previous levels and offers the option to serve on the Executive Committee advisory board after two years of membership. The Executive Committee collaborates closely with the director, providing input on various matters for the board's consideration. It comprises corporate officers and an elected Trustee Member advisory board.
